West End Egg Auction

OK Once again I desire to be a Millionaire, but alas I am not. I know some of you who read this BLOG watched these eggs get placed in the West End nest last year. If you would love a truly unique eagle item for your own personal display and also want to help support the Fostering Project out of DR Sharpe's work of the coast of California, then you could truly be interested.

Here is more info you will need if you would like to participate in this auction.

The two fake eggs that were placed in the West End nest in 2007 are now up for auction ( bidding to end on November 21 ). Each egg comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a display stand. The egg can be autographed if you prefer. To make a bid, simply e-mail Dr. Peter Sharpe at sharpe@iws.org and let me know your bid and whether it is for Egg 1 or Egg 2. I will update the current bid daily (bidders will remain anonymous to the forum) for each egg and the two highest bids will receive the eggs. The winning bid will be tax-deductible, minus the purchase price of the egg ($26). Minimum starting bid will be $35.00.

You can follow the bidding info here.

Minimum bid is $35, There are over 600 members on that forum and of course then there are folks like me getting the info out to lots of other places. Not sure how many will want to bid. The winning bids are tax deductible though except for the actual price Dr Sharpe paid for the egg. So that is something to consider. Also the eggs can be autographed. Not exactly sure if that means Dr. Peter Sharpe but I bet it might LOL. Good luck.
