How Beautiful
I have just last evening returned from a trip to West Virginia to meet up with friends with whom I have Blogged some up to two years now AND TO SEE Liberty and Belle, the pair of eagles who first captured my heart from the point of view of a web cam. I knew it was a place I would have to at some point visit. I have not had the time to organize all that I want to share from that time at NCTC with those people and this nest, BUT Lib and Belle have had a very busy day today, and the cam has been functioning fairly well too so I have decided to feature them with tonights FeedBlitz. Click the words How Beautiful that is highlighted. How Beautiful!!!!
I have only posted the link however as it does seem that loading the full video on the BLOG does at times slow down the load page time.

Some Good News
Thanks to Empty Belfry for sharing this info on the Maine Forum. I am passing this on to my readers as well.
If you love eagles...you will definitely enjoy this cam...they were among the top 10 cams on the web with their coverage of this pair of eagles and their young last season....
Here is the news
Received an update on the NORFOLK NEST today
Following the departure of the female fledgling a large portion of the nest did indeed fall to the ground. Since that time the parents have been observed both refurbishing the old nest as well as adding sticks to a new nest in a different tree. It's too early to make a determination as to which site they'll use in the upcoming season. The eagles may not make that decision until egg laying time. We'll continue to observe and ensure that our cam is oriented in such a way as to capture most of the action.
