The biggest Good news is the new little eaglet at Puget Sound pictured on blog top.
The most disturbing eagle excahnge I have ever seen happened at the Maine nest for like 2 hours this afternoon. Here is a link to that event
The site is quieter now. I enjoy photography and spend much time out with my camera, many times with the eagles who migrate to my area. I have changed the way that comments work now as a result of multiple spam this past month. I wish all of you who stop by a continued love for this beautiful creature.

Oh my gosh, that was some video...what do you think was happening? Do you know if Dad was OK. That pair has been through so much, I could hardly believe now this is happening.
the thought on the eagle forum is that there are other pairs of eagles who also had problems weathering the recent Nor'easter and an unmated male may be interested in Mom. Also after a failed nest is is not unusual for another mate to try to come onto the scene This is what I am reading not at all necessarily what I am thinking. I personally do not know what to think except this is certainly a very high drama nesting site
